ABOUT US
Welcome to Primacy Partners.
It all started by chance. Six years ago, we received a random request from a friend whose clients were looking for independent and reliable professional directors for their Singapore organizations. Because we were a bunch of lawyers and accountants, we fit the bill.
It became apparent that there was a demand for such services waiting to be filled; hence the idea to form Primacy Partners was formalised.
Over the years, our business grew, no less helped by our panel of consultants’ knowledge and experience in law, compliance and finance. And as our client base grew, we began to offer add-on services such as bank introduction services, statutory and regulatory compliance management, employment, corporate advisory accounting and taxation services for the convenience of our clients.
To this day we remain small in size but big on delivery. We like it that way.

BACKGROUND
Hooi Shan was trained as a dispute lawyer in Malaysia and Singapore. As a dispute lawyer, she represented corporate and commercial disputes including corporate receivership, contractual disputes, shareholders’ disputes, winding-up proceedings, directors’ duties and liabilities, corporate advisory
works. She also advised on maritime law including disputes arising from charterparties, shipbuilding
contracts, collisions, and bills of lading/cargo claims.
Her current area of practice involves general corporate, secretarial and compliance. She advises
clients such as ONHC Videsh, Vopak, Tesco, Ericsson, Gard P&I, and Hoegh LNG and has more than nine years of experience as resident director and company secretary of Singapore companies.
